OH. MY. GOODNESS!! I pretty much thought I had seen it all. Joshua stuffed the fish tank in his room after he got up from his nap. Or quite possibly he never took a nap as this is quite a feat. I am sure he worked very diligently and could NOT figure out why I did not appreciate his hard work. There was very little water on the floor. Contents include: 1 cup, 1 Webster's dictionary, 2 pant hangers, (1) 20 questions game, 3 pieces of train track, 1 DVD and case, 1 pair of shoes, 1 pair of socks, 2 blankies, 1 toddler bed comforter, 1 set of toddler bed sheets, 1 lg container of fish food, fish filters, instructions for the fish filters, 1 bottle of algaefix, and 1 bus toy that luckily didn't fit.
****Amazingly - ALL 4 large fish survived!!!****
You didn't mention the fate of the fish ...
ReplyDeleteI had that exact thought, "I thought I'd seen it all" - wow, who knew so much stuff can fit in a fish tank. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is UNBELIEVABLE! That takes talent!!!! It's very funny to us that did not have to clean up such a mess. Where did you even start? My mouth is gaping at such a disaster!!! What a munchkin!!!
ReplyDeleteOh! My! Goodness! (I agree!)
ReplyDeleteWow, Wendy! I think that tops them all. What a creative boy you have! Reminds me of the show "The Big Comfy Couch" with the endless things that somehow all fit under the couch cushions. Good thing you took a picture...that's a classic!!
ReplyDeleteI know this is not funny to you at all, but I was laughing so hard. I'm sure if it was me, I would not be happy!

OMG! Now THAT brings back memories. My oldest son Jimmy 24 (who also has Ds) did the exact same thing when he was about 2. We woke up, only to find the fish swimming in about an inch of water above all the blocks, VHS tapes, and anything else he could find to put in the fishtank. After that, I duct taped the top on and fed the fish through a small opening in the top! That is so funny, thanks for sharing that:) Good times, fun memories:):)
ReplyDeleteI just figured out what the red item is - it's Webster's! Looks like that book is down the drain and out of commission. LOL i enjoyed reading Amy L's comment about her son also adding items to their fishtank. =) Joshua's such a helper, i'm guessing that he was playing "fill the wash machine".
ReplyDeleteHe just kills me! That smile, those eyes - and now his mischiveous ways! Him and my Grant would get along so well thinking up super naughty stuff to do!
ReplyDeleteAt least you got some pictures - and in few weeks/years - a great story and laugh! (though I'm sure cleaning it up wasn't fun!)
