And so we

wait......and wait some more.

We were supposed to hear last week (at the earliest) what our first travel date was.  What we heard was that they are backed up and swamped.  This feels similiar to, though not quite as dramatic as, going past my due date with my first child.  When you lose your date of expectation, then it feels like it might not ever happen.  Ever.  That's what it feels like, even though my head knows that it will happen eventually.

  1. Oh, I so remember the feeling. It's hard not to get down. Just know it's the way they work over there...nothin' new. We waited for weeks and weeks to finally get that first travel date after submitting. When you finally get to go, though, you almost forget how hard it was. Hang in there!!

  3. You're right. It will happen but the waiting is SO hard. Praying God will pour an extra measure of peace/patience upon your heart. Love you all!
